Sometimes I really love that my parents own a christian bookstore. And by "Sometimes" I mean "right about now". Sanctus Real's new cd comes out april 4th coincidentally that's the same day that Hawk Nelson's new cd comes out. Cool me has both those cd's already. Go me!
Sanctus Real is of course great. Though it is kinda sad how they got a new bassist i'm a little upset about that.
Hawk Nelson is a complete disappointment. They've sold out and lost everything that made them good. they're now POP punk with a big emphasis on the "pop" part. I really don't want to do it cause I loved their first cd but I think they're really pushing the "queer punk" genre. There might be a couple good songs on there but most of it is crap-for-crap.
Also "SevenGlory" and "Roads to Rome" are new bands that you may be hearing more of in the future. They're both decent nothing really special though. They'll probably be on the radio but I'll get sick of em fast. Roads to Rome = good bass. SevenGlory = good guitar.
"Chronos" stinks but I think somebody out there might like em and so they might possibly get a song put on the radio, but i'm going to change the station whenever it comes on. Not exactly my cup-o-tea.
Passion 06 comes out soon too I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet but I do have it and i'm sure it'll be good.
Now go support your local christian bookstore and buy every one of those cd's whether you like em or not. please? It puts food on my table... and if you look at my torso it's painfully obvious that I need some food on my table... to put in my stomach... to go on my bones... Right well at the very least go buy Sanctus Real it's lovelly. I don't care who you are you'll enjoy it. And while you're there go ahead and purchase "Cadet" and "Dakona". I've been telling you guys to listen to them for a long time but you just won't listen.
