Feed My Frankenstien!
Hungry for love and it's feeding time!
That's right, I got my tickets in the mail over the weekend. I'm going to see Alice Cooper in August! Which in reality is only about 2 weeks away, so I'm completely stoked! For Clearfield being nothing more than a fair, they get a lot of big acts. Not only is Alice performing, but one night Kelly Clarkson is going to be there, and I think the night after Alice Ratt is performing. (I would have liked to see them too, but I don't need to be going up there two nights in a row). But yes, I'm going with cheez0rs and her Mum :D
In other news, my comic didn't come in. The guy who owns the shop said something must have happened with the order and that he would check it out for me. So alas, I must wait longer for my lords Dethklok in print. I did get the next issue of Cap though, which wasn't that bad. The story was so-so, but Gene Colgan was the guest artist and his work was just wonderful! The colorist gave it a really cool foggy, watercolor feel that was beautiful. And also, Nick Fury ftw? I was excited to see him get some time :P
After taking the week off, I go back to work tomorrow. Blah. Hopefully I can get a decent amount of sleep. Ever since I went to see HBP at midnight and got home around 3:30, my sleep schedule has been out of whack. I was up until three last night too.
But the good news is tomorrow I'll get my paycheck from last week cashed and head to the mall to pick up Watchmen on DVD! Whoo! I still am on the fence about the movie, I mean as good as it was in it's own right, you can NEVER top the book. I'm just excited about seeing it again, now that I've read the book three times and understand a lot more. I wanna see if I pick up anything different that I didn't get the first go around.
