So real life has been kicking my butt lately. It's getting near to finals week so work and projects are stacking up. It seems as though my free time has happily flown through the window. >___>
Which is why I haven't been on in a few days. I'm glad that you guys enjoyed my 90's list! Haha, I found that over on FaceBook and just had to post it over here too. XD
Blah, today it snowed too. We didn't get any all through the month of March, but today we got hit. It's not laying very much, but it's blustery and cold and over all nasty. I want Spring DAMMIT! >:(
Besides that, the musical is over. It was a lot of fun and it went really well. It was some of the easier Pit music that I've played. Not only that but it was the first time I was really complemented on my playing. When I was leaving on night, a lady pulled me aside and told me I did a wonderful job and that she enjoyed the music immensely. Another guy (who knows my Mum), told her that he could really hear the bass and that it sounded great to hear me playing again.
And even though I INSISTED that I wanted to volunteer (seriously, I love playing, I'd do it for free all the time), I got a check in the mail from the school. That's the first time I ever got payed for a talent as opposed to a regular job. It was very fulfilling, even though I didn't feel like I deserved it.
I did have to miss Tekkoshocon though. This is the first time in 3 years that I've missed it, but it was farther away this year and more expensive so, oh well.
I am planning on going to Steel City Con on the 25th. It's Pittsburgh's comic convention and I'm COMPLETELY PSYCHED! Maybe now that the movie's out there's gonna be more Watchmen stuff. And I'm determined to keep my eye out for those [adultswim] figurines that I've seen floating around on the net.
