Pathetic...thy name is Amanda
Yeah, so tonight is the official night for Trick or Treating in Marion Center. (don't ask me why they're not having it on Friday, it baffles me too).
And it's snowing like hell. We've got about an inch in some places. Other places, under trees for example, is just lightly covered. Apparently we're in for it for the night too. A town a few miles north of us is under an advisory. They could get up to 9 inches in the higher elevations.
This is only October! Which is early for snow, even here in bum-fuck Pennsylvania.
Anyway, onto my pathetic-ness. If we do get trick or treaters, I'm prepared. I'm sitting here in a cape (which I would TOTALLY wear everyday of the year if it was up to me), with my Guy Fawkes mask ready for wearing next to me. I'm gonna scare the shit out of kids if they come. They'll have no idea who I am. They're too busy wearing skimpy, far too thin and showy for a 6 year old, Hannah Montana costumes. *anger*
Seriously, what ever happened to little kids dressing as Princesses, Clowns, and Cowboys? No, now they're wearing mini skirts with head sets, and High School Musical 3 basket ball costumes. It makes me SICK! When I was I kid I did everything from a Troll Doll, to a Dalmatian, to Dracula (not a vampiress...that's lame). In fact, the only time I did an even remotely feminine costume was when I was forced against my will to be Snow White, and I hated it.
In my older years, I've been doing other off the wall stuff. I went as Legolas one year, Dumbledore the next. I've done Gene Simmons, because I wanted to and because my Mum has wanted me to do him for years. I know what you're wondering...yes, I can do the tongue thing. It's that long...think all you want XD
Friday night, Halloween, I'm doing my self up like Paul Stanley. I did him once before with some extra make-up just because I could, and I looked really good, better than I did as Gene. I kind of have the same facial structure as Paul so it works.
But yes, I'll end my long Halloween centric rant here. And I'll make sure to post some pics later. ^___^
