I agree with underdog. It is kind of a lame year, I mean 18's a big deal and so is 21, but 19 is just kinda...eh.
Last night I went to the football game. My sister got Henry (the band's announcer) to say happy birthday to me over the loudspeaker. The whole band cheered and I got all embarrassed. THEN, Jenny got the band to sing happy birthday to me in the stands. That was even MORE embarrassing. I hate when people sing to me, especially if they're in a large group. I feel all singled out and I never know what to do with myself >_<
Still, today rocked! My Mum got me DVD's of a Dokken concert and Poison's greatest video hits. My sister got me a Slash poster <3, that I'll take a picture of once I get it hung up. The little snot also bought me a fuckin' Hanna Montana card. And signed it "Happy Birthday Rock Star". Gah.
My Mum also took me to the Newman Center, which is a big Catholic church in town. I know what you're thinking, "Her? In a Catholic church of all places?"
But wait, it was for a used book sale. THE MOTHER OF ALL BOOK SALES!!! They have everything, and it's so insanely cheap, you wouldn't believe it!
I got an art book on Raphael, a book of Palindromes and Anagrams, and a book of Myths. I also found quite a steal of VHS tapes (shut up I live in the past ok? Child of the 90's here XD). I got Brave Heart, Silence of the Lambs, and The Full Monty all for 6 bucks!
Yep! So, tomorrow I'm off to the Renfest! Yet another chance to let my dork side shine! I'll make sure to post some pics, but, knowing me, it'll be awhile.
Another year alive hasn't changed my procrastination tendencies!
