sing Cleveland Rocks!

Yep! I'm home!

Friday night we left for Cleveland, and got to our hotel at around 9:30-ish. Once we got there, a HUGE thunderstorm occurred. There wasn't much rain, but there was a lot of lighting bolts and loud cracks of thunder.

Thankfully, it cleared up by morning. After an IHOP breakfast, we were off to the zoo! It was really cool, and a lot bigger than Pittsburgh's. I got to see a bunch of animals that I haven't seen before either. There were reindeer, camels, a beaver, and red panda's to name a few ^__^. All it all, it was pretty awesome, although the Aquatics exhibit did not live up to it's reputation.

Sunday, we went to the Rock and Roll hall of fame. It took forever to get there though. There was a Triathlon going on, so all of the streets and exits were roped off. We parked almost 4 blocks away and had to walk. >_>

Sadly, pictures aren't allowed to be taken inside the museum. But I can still tell you that it was AWESOME!!! The bottom floor was the best. It had the most memorabilia/artifacts. I got to see some of Steven Tyler's, Mick Jagger, and Freddie Mercury's clothes...and I've come to the conclusion that DAMN rock stars are tiny!

But, I also got to see Slash's Top-hat and jacket...and only a thin shield of glass was between me and something that touched him *squees like the stupid fangirl she is*

After that, we headed home, and I spent the night and next day at Adrienne's. She's leaving Wednesday for San Francisco to visit her Mum's friend Badri. Lucky duck.

We had bad news when we got home though. One of our kittens, Burlioz, is missing. We've looked everywhere, but no luck. Hopefully she'll show up. She wasn't even home after work today.

And speaking of work, DEAR GOD! I thought entering data would be a breeze, but nOOOooo...it's all crazy hard and intricate and it makes my head hurt. Right now we're in the middle of updating a whole bunch of alumni addresses and it makes me want to headdesk frequently.

Ah well, at least tomorrow's an off day.
