98% of my Senior Class is metally deficient. We've been practicing marching in for Commencement for 2 days, and there are still people who don't understand the process of...
Taking a step with your left foot...then bring your feet together.
Taking a step with your right foot...then bring your feet together.
Repeat until on stage.
GOD! It's so frustrating! Six years of marching band is wasted everytime I marched onto stage today. Oh well, at least I got out of school at 10:30!
I also came to realize that I really don't like my class all that much. I have 5 (maybe) close friends that are in my class. Everyone else is a grade or two below me. I also realized that there are at least 2 people I have never seen or spoken to.
We're not that big of a class. 124 I think, and it astounds me that there are people that I don't know. I can't even fathom graduating in a city school that graduates 300+.
The schedule looks like this.
Sunday- Vespers
Monday- Practice
Tuesday- Awards Ceremony, Senior Tea
Wednesday- Commencement
I am out of there! And thankfully, our class got emerald green robes, not those horrible 1970's oh-my-god-that's-the-ugliest-mustard-yellow-ever-robes. I actually look pretty cool in mine. I also get to wear a fancy white collar thing because I'm in National Honors Society.
Other than that, the weather is crazy hot and humid. My hair is so big that White Snake would envy me...and my skin is so sticky and disgusting I just want to stay in a cold shower and never leave. Blah.
Anyway, tomorrow I get to go to Alyssa's grad party, and then I'm going to Ben's grad party, so I'm gonna be busy busy busy!
