Lyke 1 week ago? Zomg!

It's been over a week since I've left for Cleveland. I was going to wait until I got my pictures developed to post, but it's going to take awhile. I decided to take a few disposable cameras as opposed to my Digital one, so I have to wait and scan them.

The bus ride over was a blast. But band bus rides are always fun XD! The Hard Rock Cafe was also fantastic. That's the second one I've been to, and we had to wait for ever to finally get in. The highlight of that was...I SAW ONE OF DUFF McKAGAN'S BASSES! *fangirls* Gah, it was so friggin' awesome!

Then we headed off to the Symphony. It was kind of boring, but they performed the Clarinet Concerto and it was phenomenal! The soloist was the best I've ever seen, and made me realize just how mediocre I am compared to these pro guys...even Regional Band doesn't compare to that *is lame*

The Kalahari resort was our next stop. It was freaking HUGE! We got there at around 11 and got to our room. They had a flat screen TV, a fire place, a balcony, fridge and microwave in every room! We were a floor above the boys but we could go out and lean over the railing to talk to them.

Saturday was Cedar Point day. The morning started off windy and rainy, but the day got better and it turned out nice and sunny. The park wasn't all that impressive (give me Kennywood any day). I only rode two of the roller coasters...the other ones were either shut down, had really long lines, or were WAY too extreme for me.

There was one point in the park were you could go out and walk along the beach near Lake Erie. That was the biggest beach I've ever been on. It was really calm and breezy, and no one else was out there except for our small little group. I wrote my name in the sand too, cliche...but fun XD By the time I got back to the hotel I was exhausted and ended up in bed by 12:30.

Sunday was our day at the water park. It actually wasn't all that bad. Aleah and I hung out most of the day. We hit one of the extreme slides (even though she was being chicken XD) and it was way more fun than any of the roller coasters I've been on. We also spent a lot of time in the lazy river (where you can just float about in an inner tube), the wave pool, and the hot tub.

We went back to our rooms at 2 and had lunch. We could have went back to the water park after wards, but we were having too much fun acting like idiots and having hall parties. Those were certainly interesting...and I'm sure if the staff found out about some of the shit we did...we wouldn't be welcomed back >__>

Then that evening, we had a dinner cruise on Lake Erie. The food was really good, and after wards we went out on deck. HOLY CRAP was it windy! We took a bunch of pics of me and some of my long haired guy friends in various epic poses in front of the sunset! XD I can't wait til the pics come in. I just hope the lighting was bright enough.

The sunset was really beautiful, but after we all got freezing cold, we headed in and watched a few of the more outgoing members dance. Ben and I even party boyed one of our chaperones XD She just danced right back!

When we got back to the hotel, we were all wound up. I got to watch the new Metalocalypse (which ROCKED! Except for Seth, who's a douchebag). And I'm pretty sure my friends think I'm crazy for watching something like that XD. We got to bed around 3 that night...simply because we were acting like idiots...out on the balcony this time.

Monday we just had some more time at the hotel...and then we headed home! And that's all for my Ohio adventures.

This week at school was NRG week. Which I assume is just a creative way to say 'energy'. Nothing much happened, except for the pep rally yesterday. But all we did was sit and make fun of all the popular kids that got chose to participate in a bunch of self-humiliating games. Yeah...I'm just one of the chubby rocker kids that sit in black t-shirts at the top of the gym bleachers and wish to hell that the damn pep rally would end already. God they're so boring!

Last night was the "Thoroughly Modern Milly" cast party at Blue Spruce Park. It was a lot of fun even though not a lot of people showed up.

Yup...that's about all. This weekend I have to watch "Sweeney Todd"...actually finish it, I started watching it at Lindsey's house yesterday and I love it so far. I also have to type out a case study. Then I have to watch another new Metalocalypse! Woo!

Then on Monday, I get to actually watch a Memorial Day parade for the first time since 6th grade. I'm gonna miss Marching Band...
