I had an eye doctor appointment after school today since my eyes have been all screwed up lately. I wear contacts and I think they're starting to make my eyes all retarded... possibly because I started wearing them when I was in fifth grade... anyhow, I now see like halo-looking things around lights and everything. I even see it around my computer screen as I'm typing. It's so annoying. And lately, for some reason my eyes get this stingy feeling and then water a lot. So I told the eye doctor and he said that I might need a higher perscription for my contacts and glasses again. I'm thinking, "how bad can my vision get before I go blind?" well I guess it can be worse. My mom's vision is really retarded... instead of wearing bifocal contacts (since they're annoying) she wears two different ones in each eye. One for seeing far and the other for reading. I hope my eyes never get that bad. I wanna get lasic surgury when I'm old enough. My eye sight is seriously so bad that I'm scared I'll eventually go blind.
So anyways, he tests my eye sight and... it got worse by another 0.5... They didn't have the contacts I needed in stock so I have to wait like a week or something to see how they'll be. I think I'm gonna get the daily ones so that they don't irritate my eyes so much either.
After he tested my vision, he shined this brigh light into my eyes and made me look up and down... i guess to make sure my eyes didn't have any infections. So then he says that my eyes look like they're irritated from allergies. I've never been told that I have allergies besides the little ones I have to perfume and other smelly stuff. Maybe I'm a little allergic to my dog... I dunno... it's the first time we had a dog and we just got her at the end of the summer. It's possible that I'm slightly allergic to her. So now I have to put these eye drops in my eyes twice a day before I go to sleep and when I wake up. He said that it should go away within two weeks... I hope it does...
