To The Fans...

I don't know if this is classified as fanfiction, or RPF or what.  But if I were a showrunner, and my show was ending after eight years, this is what I would say...

To The Fans,

These characters are yours now.  We created them, for you.  For eight years, we played with them, laughed with them, cried with them, hurt them, healed them, nurtured them ( Read more... )

goodbye, house

I would love it if any show/movie/story creator said that. If only.

Is it strange that I don't feel sad about this? I haven't been watching the show for about two seasons now. And sometimes I miss it. But most of the time, I don't.

i wish i were in your position. i stopped watching late last year because i hated - HATED - what they did with house and cuddy, and then tuned back in to the finale to watch him crash his car through her house. i haven't watched it at all this year, not even a clip (except the one they showed at the craig ferguson taping that i couldn't ignore), and i am happy to see it go. desperately happy, because i hated who house became, in the end.

but i just hope that they are able to give him some kind of peace, some kind of closure in the end. because i still read fanfiction, and it'd be a lot harder to ignore canon if he died without ever resolving things with cuddy. :( but, yeah. i wish i'd stopped watching when you had. it would have saved me a whole lot of heartache.

last season, i mean. i stopped watching after episode 15 and tuned back in for the last two. BIG MISTAKE.

Oh my god, I can't get into this. I didn't really know what happened between House and Cuddy, I only knew that she died (which I don't really like thinking about) and that somehow House was responsible (which I don't really like thinking about either).

I sometimes miss House, the glee I would feel with each episode, but now I don't know if I want to watch the last two seasons.

omg, i don't want to get into it, but she DIDN'T DIE. she broke up with him and he, like, went on a mad bender and married a hooker and jumped off a 10th floor balcony into a pool and tried to operate on his own leg, and then she came and took him to the hospital and he was all "we'll go back to how we were" but then some guy asked cuddy out on a date and house found out and was so mad he ran his car through her living room and then took off to fiji. i stopped watching then, but i guess when he came back he was arrested and went to jail and when he got out, cuddy had moved, but they never said where she went. so, she could come back. i just think he owes her an apology, lol. she's still alive.

OMG THANK THE LORD SHE DIDN'T DIE.

Okay, I think I can still watch the show. It's a trainwreck, but given that I was never fully invested in the House/Cuddy relationship, I am okay.

HAHAHA YOU SPOILED ME.

yeah, but i don't know why you'd want to. i mean, maybe the end (which i might watch, too, depending on my mood) but from what i understand, it's boring now, and the new girls are awful. it's worse than season 9 of x-files. :(

i should say, he ran his car through her living room with her inside, along with her date, her sister - who set up the date - and her brother in law. they were unharmed. but he could have killed them. and her daughter, who wasn't hope (though he didn't know that at the time, until they retconned it the following fall).
