Hello everyone. :) I am Daerail, or Abigail, and I have joined your lovely community with my precious girl: Daisy Mae.
This gorgeous Basset Hound came to me at the end of August 2010. My last dog died in May of 2010 and after that I was distraught. He was the dog I had grown up with and I had loved him very much. Since my mother had always wanted a Basset Hound, I decided to go on a Basset search and months later I bought Daisy Mae. She was fourteen weeks old and the cutest dog I had ever seen. Daisy is currently a year and one month old. She is also quite hilarious, note her dramatic close up below. ;)
Daisy Mae can be quite the little devil sometimes and enjoys chasing me around the house and nipping at the back of my heals when I walk. She is the love of my life and I couldn't have asked for a better dog. I love to snuggle up to her on the couch and play with her when she is hyper.
Though, I do have to say. The way she lays on the couch sometimes does frighten me a little, note the picture below.
And the way she sits on the couch is just down right hilarious!
All in all, I love my Basset Hound. ;)
