Things overheard, part I

Coming into the building this morning I heard one woman ask another if she was coming to an event tonight. The second woman said yes, and the first replied, "Bring your rain gear," since it's been rainy here lately.

What I heard was, "Bring a reindeer," and I thought, "Huh, wonder if that's some kind of Christmas-in-September thing..." -- then I realized I'd misheard.
