FML
So, I haven't updated in quite some time, but I really need to share this incredibly terrible past couple days Ive been having.
Sunday night I brought my kitty back to my apartment and was SO excited to have him, but he wouldn't stop crying. I ended up leaving him at 5:30 and crashed at Chris'. Next night was the same, but I decided to leave at 3. The night after that we tried drastic measures to get him to shut up...basically scaring him straight. It worked and he was quiet for a good 4 hours, but I have a terrible cold and I just couldn't fall asleep. I ended up with a solid 3 hours from that night. So, yesterday I had a total of 12 hours of sleep over the past 3 nights and I was just happy as can be...not.
I was doing homework at my computer when my cat comes and jumps on the desk and knocks over a glass of water onto the computer. Mad, I threw him on the floor and started cleaning up the mess. The song that was playing started to skip and the mouse stopped working. I turned it off and set it on its side hoping it would dry out and be perfect...haha, right. I went into my room and had a nice emotional breakdown and called my mom while bawling my eyes out.
Well, I needed to finish that assignment I was working on so I tried to borrow Chris' computer but there was some trouble installing the drivers...blah blah blah, so I just decided to wake up early today and go to a computer lab and finish it before class.
That would've been great except for the fact that my car ran out of gas a solid 100 yards from my apartment...So, Chris, being the kind soul that he is, rode his bike to a gas station to get some gas for me and by the time I was ready to hit the road again, I had 5 minutes until my class started.
So, I skipped theater, even though I had something to give to one of my friends, and am no sitting in the union wondering if there is hope for repairing my computer. If not, should t I wait and get Windows 7, or get a good deal on a Vista...or maybe even get a Mac...those come with a free iPod touch right? I want an iTouch...
Does anyone else realize that the last time my computer broke was about a week before a new operating system came out? Strange coincidence, right?
But, don't worry about me. I got a good bit of sleep last night and am back in good mental health (or as close as I ever was lol). :)
