He was dead and they were grieving. They were sad and alone and drawn to each other. Lips against lips, fingers tangling in hair. Warm breath against skin cooled by the weather outside. Green eyes meeting blue, clothes discarded, bodies merging. A terrible mistake that should never have happen but felt too good to stop. Gasps of “Libby!” and “Jack!” thrown to the silent loneliness of the hub as they touched and felt and experienced and grieved. He was gone, there was nothing they could do but accept it in each other and miss him together and regret when morning came with them.
