The idea of Jack confusing Spike for John is what gave me the idea for the fic in the first place. Although, it's kinda evolved since then ... lol

I'm working on a sort-of sequel to Spreading the Word but I'm not really sure I like it or if it detracts from the sad ending of StW. Might never be posted. It's plotted out as 10 chapters.

Although, I did have plans for another Tosh/Martha fic. Might think about that one a bit when I have chance :)

“I hate to break it to you, love, but vampires don’t exist,” Jack said.

Buffy sighed. “I was afraid you’d say that.” She turned to Spike. “Show him?”

Spike grimaced. “Now you want to show me off ...” he mumbled as his face contorted into his vampire features and he growled at Tosh, who leapt back with a yell. He switched back. “I better get compensation for that,” he said to Buffy, with a grin. She just rolled her eyes, hoping her friends hadn’t noticed.

“Now do you believe me?” she said to Jack.

“But if you’re a vampire slayer, then why isn’t he ... ‘slayed’?” Owen asked.

“I keep asking the same thing,” Xander said

Priceless. Just. Priceless.
That line alone makes this fic worth reading! Hee!
