Author’s Note: Inspired by Henrickson’s line in 3.12: Jus in Bello when he tells Dean to “Take a good look at Sam, you two will never see each other again”

As Henrickson walks away, Dean turns and looks at Sam.
“Dude, we’re going to get out of here,” Sam says.
Dean just keeps looking at him. “I fought so hard for you,” he says.
“Dean, no chickflick moments…” Sam says, weakly.
Dean doesn’t stop gazing at him. He reaches out, slides his palm against Sam’s cheek until Sam covers his hand with his own.
“It ain’t over yet,” Sam insists, but he squeezes Dean’s hand anyway.
“If I only had thirty seconds to live,” Dean says, quietly, “this is how I’d want to live them… looking into your eyes.”
“Dude, you just totally ripped that from Xena,” Sam says.
“Does it mean any less that I did?” Dean asks.
Sam smiles. “No.”
Dean leans in, kisses him softly and Sam kisses back. When Dean pulls away he just stares at his brother. One last look. Just ... sooner than he thought.
