Where the heck did my weekend go?
So here I am, sitting in my room on a Sunday afternoon, wondering what I have done with all this time I thought I was going to have.
Friday evening I went to U of I to see Wes. He is doing really well, we cooked cheese ravioli for dinner with garlic bread. It was quite good. For dessert we drank strawberry daquiris (yummy!). It was really fun, we watched meet the parents...
The next morning I had to leave early to get back to school for rehearsal, so we cooked breakfast (biscuits and chocolate gravy, mmm) and I left for school. My rehearsal was great, everyone was on time and we got a lot done.
Yesterday I practiced and went grocery shopping. It was quite an uneventful day, but last night I saw the Arianna String Quartet play at Westbrook Auditorium. It was an amazing concert... so nice to see professional musicians play at Wesleyan once in a while.
Today I had my bass lesson and went to the Presser picnic, which is like a school of music picnic of sorts. It was fun, and I ate some lunch so that great twice I guess... now I have something like four and a half hours to do homework before rehearsal and chapter tonight. Busy busy...
