I'd only barely heard the ticking before it started, but I don't own any timepieces. It must be very unusual for people to make such a fuss over it.

It isn't so much that people're makin' a fuss over dead clocks. It's kind of a bigger deal when this whole city is basically one giant clock, and all of a sudden, everything stops. It's kind of uneasy.

And yeah, I have a secret plan. Just gotta see if I can make it work.

I really only just got everything started. But I have the means to get things picked up, so that's a good way to begin.
