Not such a great week last week. I probably failed a physics exam that I'd expected to do well on (and that I spent a huge amount of time studying for) and I didn't get a job I'd expected to get, the SuperNOVA Director in Training job. They hired a second-year student instead of me.
Bleh.
So that was not fun, and resulted in me panicking and filling out job applications on Friday all day, only to have to fax them to the job centre b/c the university was closed for what a lot of us call Pirate Day (some guy gave $$$ to the uni on the condition that the uni be closed the first Friday of February...as the story goes most of the $ came from privateering).
I'm semi-over it, but it was really a slap in the face to be turned down for someone with, I can only assume, much less experience than me. Welcome to the real world, I guess.
And, for the record, I hate physics homework.
