the end of the world...
So we had a pretty fantastic party for fremlin this weekend. :D As he was turning 30, the theme was as stated above -- the end of the world! And was there ever FOOD. We had mutant cannibalistic cookies (thanks to Ed and Leeanne), SPAM (from magic_missile), fallout fruit (from Nate and Sarah, separately), Keely made Baked Alaska (climate change y'know), there was nuclear winter cake (shanadar) and ice cream (me), chicken Soylent Green skewers, radioactive cupcakes (Amanda), world peace cookies (my mom), yummy roasted potatoes and salad (probably grown in some underground greenhouse or something ;) from digiterati and boulder_girl, and lots of alcomahol. :D
It was a great party! Thanks to everyone who came and made the tasty foodz! We seem to have all survived the end times intact. ^_^

Also, as a result of the cleaning we did pre-party, the kitchen and living room are reorganized, and are the awesome. Yay!
