epic weekend
Wow, that weekend went fast. :( Saturday was absolutely miserable out - pouring rain and coooold. Definitely an indoor day and I was inspired to complete an epic filing project of all the things I hadn't yet filed - oil bills, bank statements, etc. It's all tidy but when I was searching the kitchen for something this morning I found another small stack of papers to add to it, so that's on the menu for this evening, probably after class tonight.
I spent most of Sunday trying to sort out a plumbing incident with our landlord, which was exceedingly frustrating. We did get to go to my mom's, which was nice, and I met magic_missile's kitten. :D She is the cute.
Yesterday I spent the afternoon grinding my herbalism skill finally planting all the plants that have been sitting in my kitchen for a week (a hosta, 2 daylilies, and some william and mary - also called lungwort, but william and mary is prettier. :) I have fears they may not make it, as there is a frost warning for tonight. :( I really hope they don't die. Also I got a pedicure, because a) I'd been planning to since I was in Vancouver and b) Sunday was a long and frustrating day. So I have shiny toes. :D
I have an exciting lunch today... I will post pics soonish. :)
