I almost cried. I simply cannot comprehend how Bush could have won the popular vote. The fear, the ignorance, the deception...it's just too much. We're going to see a lot of changes in the next four years. If Bush gets to appoint those four Supreme Court justices, our rights are going to be in major jeopardy. Roe v. Wade will be history, an amendment banning gay marriage will most likely pass, and who knows what will happen with the Patriot Act. More jobs will be lost, our deficit will increase, the poor will get poorer, the rich will get richer. Terrorism will most definitely increase, especially if we invade Iran.
Canada, Finland (they have a female president!), and New Zealand are looking pretty damn good right now.
