(no subject)
*I got the flu last Monday, it was not fun. I didn't realize it was the flu until after it was over. I only took 1 day off work. I hope none of the kids I watched get sick from me.
*Little Miss Mia got to see her first snow yesterday. I was watching them yesterday when the snow started coming down, so I took them out to the backyard to check it out.
*Mia is sitting up now! She still falls over after a little while, but she can do it on her own. She's also figured out that she can roll everywhere lol. She rolls all over the room. She's pretty much right on schedule with Max when it comes to sitting. Max was about 4 1/2 months when he started sitting on his own. Mia will be 5 months on the 12th. Max started crawling pretty soon after, so we're wondering if she'll figure out the crawling bit soon or just keep rolling for a while instead.
*Me and Drew braved the snow and slush to go to Elena's Birthday Party last night and it was grand watching people swing dance. Though I didn't really participate in the dancing, I laughed with and at Drew a ton. Then we had dessert at B&O and I thoroughly enjoyed my Apple Crisp Ala Mode, laughed at Drew some more, and met new people. I think the funniest part of the night was when Drew said something witty and he new it so he started giggling to himself. For whatever reason, it struck me as hilariously adorable. It was a good night.
