i'm so stoked. they deserved it... i was kinda sad about direction, though, beacuse sofia coppola did an awesome job with Lost in Translation... it was like the woman from the movie Les Invasiones Barbares (canada, best foreign language film of the year) said, "i'm just glad the lord of the rings did not qualify for this category." i just wish sofia coppola had a chance, ya know? i hope she isn't discouraged. i think her dad, frances coppola (director, The Godfather), will encourage her to keep trying.
anyhoo, besides the great results from the oscars, the first i've ever been interested in, i'm down to the ground. i'm so stressed about money and not having a job and my mom is just pushing my buttons... the thing with her is that she needs attention. she needs stuff to tell her friends. she called everyone when ashley went to the hospital to have sympathy poured on her. she tells everyone she can that she wakes up at 430 in the morning (when in reality her alarm goes off at 430- she sleeps thru it until 5). she's been disatisfied with my constant cheerfulness because she's had no news to gain sympathy from. she's told me my whole life that i'm a great kid, but i have my moments. wtf does that mean? it means that she knows i'm in such a mood that i can snap if pushed. so, what does she do? she pushes every button she can, trying to get me to lose my temper. and i did. whoops. and now i'm aggravate both at her and myself. whatev.
i'd get arrested if it meant a night away from everything.
