thinkin of you...
so. time has really flown by the past few months. school has been a lot of fun but hard work at the same time. i've met a really great group of girlfriends, there are five of us- the foxy five. we have a lot of fun together and definitely are all about lookin' out for each other. its awesome. lauren, who lives in manteno, just stayed with me last night. i took her to downtown naperville where we got some deep dish pizza at loumalnatis and walked around the riverwalk, after that we went to colonial! she even met some of my friends when we went to hang out with sean wilber, braden, my cousin!, and my cousins friends... and then later with adam, jb, and dan. then this morning we woke up to run the turkey trot (5K)! it was a really great time and i had a lot of fun! we ran well too!!
today is thanksgiving thank goodnesssss!! lol it will be great to see the whole family and everything. it will be the biggest thanksgiving in a VERY long time- even my mom's sister aunt debbie is coming with her family. we haven't seen them in five years so lets just pray that everything goes well and that everyone is CIVIL ;)
time is running low too .. i have to start finishing my portfolio, write my persuasive speech AND practice it because its a week from now, finish up some errands (get some vitamin C and maybe some decorations for the room), gather up some christmas lights and maybe a mini christmas tree for my dorm, then im workin on friday and possibly hanging out with braden and those guys, saturday im hopefully seeing nikki and working on homework allll day, and then sunday im packing up to go back to school. it has been a great little break but boy has it flown by. i can't wait until christmas break, even though i could do without having finals. ugh. nooo fun!
now its off to do some homework and shower, get ready for the busy day!!
p.s. i miss a certain someone (nic) and can't wait until he gets back from australia. its less than a month but time seems to be dragging on. i planned a date for us on the friday after he gets back to IL and im not telling him what we are doing. so its fun because it will be a surprise. oh well~ somethings are just worth waiting for. :)
