Is it appropriate for kids to play Grand Theft Auto IV? Considering all the violence and bad language in the game, one would be tempted to say no. However, considering that the character you play puts on a helmet whenever he gets on any kind of motor bike, I would say that makes it an okay influence. No, the storyline sometimes sends you on missions where you perform drive-by shootings on rival gangs (sometimes, composed mostly of black people).

ah. *feels dumb* Shoot at blacks, like black people. Hmm. From what I remember don't you shoot at white people too, though? It doesn't really matter if they're black or white. Not that I'm trying to say softer world is all racist or whatever, but that's dumb. Who cares the color of the person? All Rhetorical questions.

Thanks for the link. In GTA, you pretty much shoot everybody of every color of every economic background. The game really doesn't discriminate based on anything from what I've found. Everyone's a candidate for getting taking out. Usually though it's criminals killing criminals so long as you're just going through the story.

That's what I remember from I guess GTA 3. I just remember that I thought it was kinda boring, though I did like some of the radio station music. I know it has morphed a lot since the version I played.
