I think I have the flu. I have a fever and body aches, and there's nothing that can get me off the couch right now. In fact I'm watching figure skating on TV (I feel that bad). I held a 7 month old baby for about an hour last night who had a runny nose; turns out she was positive for flu.
I just made the most delightful crack dip (black beans, corn, cilantro, etc etc) but am too tired/sick feeling to enjoy it. (Addicting like crack, no actual rock involved).
I cut my hair. I look like a 28 year old woman interested in things like lattes, interior design, doggie sweaters, oversized sunglasses, and pantsuits from Banana Republic. 2/5 are probably true. Grow, hair, grow.
I applied for graduation and spoke with my boss about possible hours when I graduate. I'm thinking 4p-4a 3x/week. That means shift differential, 4 days off, and going to sleep while it's still dark. Apparently it's difficult for grads to get day shifts. I don't mind.
I'm getting my own place when I graduate. I don't want to live with my good friends and I'm too shy to try to find acquaintances/strangers. Living with people I don't know would be more awkward and uncomfortable than anything. I won't mind living alone. Lately I've been happiest alone.
I want to get rid of/give away 90% of the things I own. Books, cds, records, artwork (I'll probably give most of my originals to my dad), decorative items, shoes, and most of my clothes. I have too much and don't need it.
