Personality/Canon facts: Hinata is a chuunin ranked shinobi of Konoha village. She is on Team 8 which consists of her jounin sensei, Kurenai, and fellow chuunin Abarame Shino and Inuzaka Kiba, as well as Kiba's dog, Akamaru. She is the original heir to the Hyuuga family's Main House, but whether or not she will succeed as heir has yet to be determined (her younger sister, Hanabi, currently out ranks her in terms of latent potential). Hinata is a very shy and timid person by nature, with very little self-confidence (I believe this is a side effect of being heir to her clan and falling short of their expectations). She has a massive crush on Uzumaki Naruto and views him as a source of inspiration; he inspires her to try harder. She is not a particularly strong fighter, but her inherited Byaakugan makes her a troublesome opponent in battle. Also, she seems to have some interest in healing.
Anything else important about the character?: She blushes on a near constant basis and tends to push her two pointer fingers together when she's nervous.

I... I seem to have gotten separated from everyone. Kurenai-sensei said it would be a good idea to scout the train in pairs, but most of the carts are empty and Kiba-kun hasn't returned from the food cart yet. I wish Akamaru had stayed at least; there's a parrot staring at me most peculiarly. It's making me nervous.
Oh. The train's slowing down. I wonder if this is our stop...?
Oh. It appears to be the end of the line. Then... should I get off? But what about the others? Did they already leave, o-or get off at another stop maybe? Oh dear... I don't know what to do!
Maybe they're outside. I'll just get back on if I don't see them.
Huh? I don't remember bringing anything with me, but there's a bag here with my name on it. I'm almost certain it wasn't there a few minutes ago....
Mm, Kurenai-sensei didn't say anything about a school... I think I should get back on---
