Well, the-sick is virtually gone. Occasional cough is all that's left
State testing started today. Kids are doing surprisingly well - I saw a LOT of them double-checking their work, and such. Very proud of them.
We then had a light day - Read an article from a few years back about why everyone should take algebra. (Short answer - thinking skills.) Then had the kids discuss the article... I think we'll do some simple project stuff on area over the next two days. Along the lines of students figuring out the costs for repainting/recarpeting their rooms at home.
Grades due at the end of the week (Progress reports.) Almost caught up with the grading after being sick. I might even be done tomorrow, with 4 hours of testing.
