Okay, what day is it today? Friday, the 23rd of July. Tomorrow would be my dad's 60th birthday if he were still alive.
I had today off from work. I think my boss scheduled me for the day off so he could call me in Saturday if he needed me, which he does. So I have to go to work tomorrow from 3 til closing at the Mantoloking store. I hate closing but his wife is having a baby (they induced labor today) and I wanna help out where I can.
I made an angel food cake Tuesday night and colored it pink and blue and drizzled some colored icing over it. I brought it in to work and everyone loved it. I don't know... I must be on a baking kick right now. I found my Betty Crocker Cake cook book and I want to use my stand mixer and everything. I even bought this cool square pan for brownies and such and it has portion marks on it. So the next cake I'm going to make for Bridget and Tony will be after I find out what they had (they don't know the sex of the baby yet). If it's a boy I'm gonna make a sailboat. If it's a girl, I think I'll make ballet slippers. Or I could make a butterfly. That one I've done before and it's a little difficult to do. Well, whatever. I'll figure something out.
Anywayz, my mom and I are going back up to Philipsburg on Sunday so we can show my aunt and cousins some Mary Kay stuff. My mom lost her job about a week and a half ago and she really needs to start doing more with Mary Kay.
Which reminds me, I'm signing up to be a Mary Kay consultant by the end of the summer... probably in the beginning of August. But for now, if anyone wants to buy some Mary Kay stuff, let me know. You can even check out my mom's website:

Byez for now.
