toronja is the best jarritos flavor, ever.
this weekend i went to portland. i left after work on friday, larissa came with and we headed to the border... stopped at the van's outlet store and bought some sweet new shoes. we then kept going and got to portland at 10pm or so. i'd been up since 5 so i crashed hard...
saturday mike and i went to st. johns and ate delicious sandwiches and salads at proper eats. after that we headed back to his house and walked to a house where there was a barbeque/show happening. it was gorgeous outside - t-shirt weather! - and the walk was wonderful. we watched dispossessed play and i thought they were rad. i drank a couple sparks and we headed on a car ride with lee, troy, and larissa. we tried to go to the grotto but it was closed so mike and i headed home for a bit and then went to the humane society. i fell in love with every single dog there, surprise surprise. and most of the cats too, except for the one that scratched me. fuck you "peggy sue". we got veggie pho for dinner and rented art school confidential... pretty sweet day!!
on sunday mike had to work but larissa and i went downtown and hung out at powells and bought some books.. and walked around downtown for a few hours, looking at clothes and record stores and the like. we headed to mike's work next and got yummy baked tofu sandwiches.. mmmm. mike and i played scrabble while larissa took a nap, and then we drank some sparks and went to get chimichangas at king burrito. double mmmmmm. sparks+chimichangas though... tummy ache central. we watched the goonies with mike's rad roomie julie and headed to bed.
today we went to st. johns to eat burritos at the taqueria santa cruz and then headed outta town. stopped a couple times and made it back around 9pm, not bad! but i miss mike...
on my drive home today, i found out that:
1) i'm going to austria for 10 days in the end of may.
2) my great aunt has died because her children had the nursing home stop feeding her. fucks.
3) ..maybe thats it? but hey, thats a lot.
