mascot appreciation post
i love mascots. they're just so darn cute. some people hate them and think they detract from the game. i think they're an added bonus to the experience. if the game sucks, at least the mascot is running around having fun. so i decided to post most of my favorite mascots. here is one of my favorite, in doll form:

Harvey the Hound (the dog on the left) actually got its tongue ripped out by the coach of the edmonton oilers a few years ago. poor pooch.
i dont know what to make of this, besides it being amazing

my dream was to be this when i was a boy
The rest of these no longer exist. So sad.
He got replaced by another blue jay named Ace. ouch.
this team moved to fucking illinois. its going to be a long winter in worcester without the icecats.
The rest of these are of Youppi! He is my favorite. He was recently adopted by the Canadians, but it still sucks.
Viva la Expos. Viva la Youppi!
(i still cant believe the expos moved after that photo was released. i think i cried when i first saw it)
