sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I'm excited because tomorrow i start my internship! I'm working at Seven Stories Press and it's a really small publishing house, onlly 10 paid employees nationwide. I'm working monday-thursday for free. As an intern, i guess i'm basically a slave but i prefer to think of it as an aprenticeship. Anyway i'm RLY STOKED! I went to century 21 and bought new shoes.
today was the first summer storm of the season. I watched the massive thunderheads approach from the distance and felt the air go 'lectric as the lightening began. And as the wind stirred and thrashed the thunder came...magnificent. Tons of trees went down all over town and the driving in the downpour was terrrible but i still had to spend the whole day driving around doing errends getting no work done.
max and i are trying to start a rock band, i think it could work out but he's moving to amherst this weekend. He says he'll commute home on the weekends to work on songs, but we really need a drummer. I want to transfer to Hampshire, Max has told me all about it and it sounds like a dream, but they stopped accepting admissions applications last march so i'm going to try to work it and beg. If i got in i could really get a rock band going, this is going to be an uphill battle to really get an outfit together this summer. anyway i have work to get to and i have to wake up at fucking seven a.m. tomorrow.
oh, i sent a resume to the senior teller at the bank. when i went in to deposit my tax refund she offered me a job, but i havn't heard from her since i sent her my resume yesterday. How funny would it be if i become a banker?
