I love "Colors" by Amos Lee.
Sometimes, I also love my job, which involves much struggle and poor writing, but also provides brief glimmers of hope when I realize that the people can learn and redeem.
My brother got a free download of Kyle XY, which I watched today and thouroughly enjoyed despite a plethora of bad acting. Juice me! Then I made a CD with all my shiny new Ben Lee music. It was a successful day.
My Ireland final was extended until 1 September, which is a huge relief, as I will now have time to learn about Art, Literature, and History. It's comforting, really. I still have to finish my journal and project, but that's cake. I already have a crappy sestina that I can put in there if I need to (although I'm working on other options) and then it's champagne wishes and haiku dreams.
I'm compiling a style guide for the Pharos, and before you're all "We use AP style" (ALICE), I'm talking about specific things about Wesleyan and things we always miss. I'm daunted, but super excited, because I'm a geek.
Also, if you're looking for a "just because it's Wednesday" gift for me, the 2006 AP Stylebook is out now in print.
Kim's bridal shower is Monday, and her bachelorette party is Thursday, and the rehearsal dinner is Friday, and the wedding is Saturday, so next week will be much with the busy.
Megan, we must get in touch about matters financial.
