Finally, I have managed to set up our league for the season. Fellow fangirls, please note :
1. I've set the league to rerun Tuesday so that stats from the beginning of the year will count. You can make changes before or after Tuesday, but if you make them before, they will be retroactive to before the season. It's like time travel! You can say, "Well, holy crap, David Ortiz is hitting like shit, so maybe I'll pick up Manny instead," and it will be like you never had Papi on your team! ;) Neat!
2. Despite some trouble I had with reading comprehension and not being a dumbass, I finally got everyone's rosters in with one exception -- Bronson Arroyo was chosen by em_meredith and elvenjen4, but Em sent her roster in first so she gets him. Also, Jen, I can't find Miguel Bautista listed, so please try to add him if you'd still like him on your roster.
And, yes, that is a gratuitous 2004-ALCS icon just to celebrate the fun of watching Manny Delcarmen, of all people, get A-Rod for the second out in the ninth. The Sox managed to beat the Yankees behind a craptastic performance from Daisuke (5 innings, 116 pitches or some bullshit), and with both Okajima and Papelbon unavailable. Four innings from Aardsma, Timlin, Lopez, and Delcarmen, and only one run allowed. ::faints:: Baseball is crazy.
