Breaking Character: EOY '08
Well. So EOY '08 was yesterday, but when I got home all I could do was just collapse on the couch even though I didn't do any cosplay orz. But it was fun and I got to tag along with a group of craaaaaaaaaaaazy reborn cosplayers XDDD
So I got there rather early, but not early enough to hear a cover of "Oretachi no JOY!" ;A; Sadness. Hope someone will put a link up on Youtube soon. XD
After making my rounds outside, and spending about $30 on merchandise orz, I finally ventured inside, and found a Reborn cosplay group that was... well - I guess you could describe it as very good cosplay? XD Especially the Kokuyou gang. And the Uni.
Then I almost squeed when I saw this couple:
Luckily I managed to keep my senses about me and asked them for a photo, and they obligingly stood in front of the window so that there was no one in the background! XDDD ♥
BTW, for those of you who don't know, they are Anna and Asakura Yoh from Shaman King! XDDD
I finally found um. she-who-doesn't-want-to-be-named, after a bit of hassle because she did not want to be identified AT ALL and was trying to stay away from places where there were a lot of people. (It was about this point in time (say 3pm?) that the flood of people came in.)
We found some of her friends who were also repornReborn! fans, and then she got ambushed into being taken photos of. Eventually we managed to go down to BK where the rest of her cosplay group was eating lunch XDDD They had everybody except Ryohei (aw). Apparently Lambo-kun's favourite pairing is 8059 too XDDD
What's this? Gokudera and Yamamoto are trying to run away from the paparazzi? XDDD ARE THEY HOLDING HANDS? XDDD
After lunch, they went to have a photoshoot in the carpark XDDD around some trees, Bollywood-style XDDD
Gokudera caught me spying on their photoshoot - unfortunately, he didn't notice the bunny ears that Yamamoto gave him (*wink wink nudge nudge*)
Gokudera gave Tenth his confession...
...and Tsuna gave Gokudera a kiss on the cheek! XDDD (59 doesn't look very pleased about it though - maybe he was hoping for something a little more?)
Oh noes! Mukuro and Chrome stole Tsuna away! The other Guardians are going to try and get him back!
But Lambo was too much of a wuss and he ran away XDDD
In answer to the above question, YES! Gokudera and Yamamoto were holding hands!
I'm sure Tsuna won't mind, Gokudera! XDDD He'd want all his Guardians to get along, wouldn't he?
Awww... Yamamoto gave Gokudera a flower...
Hmmm.
"He loves me, he loves me not, he loves me..."

Then they decided that they wanted Hibird more. Tsuna doesn't mind XDDD

In the end, I didn't get to watch the Cosplay competition, which meant that I paid $12 just to buy merchandise orz.
Next year I'll probably hang around downstairs and outside and gawk at cosplayers and not buy merchandise XDDD Or maybe I'll have gathered up sufficient motivation by then to cosplay as well... we'll see XDDD
