how things turned around...and I hugged the sexiest man alive
so I just coppied this from my My Space... but it's such a story, so it deserves multiple postings...
I think the Holy Spirit defianty had something to do with this... I've been real upset latley and today I'm just like God please take away all my stupid anger cuz I'm driving myself crazy. (I sound like I have major mental problems but really I don't) I wasn't exactly looking for something to cheer me up, just to keep me occupied and being productive. I went to the Tigers game with my dad, uncle, and cousins tonight. We went over to the 3b side.. this is where I became a smiling fool and said probably some dorky things, but thats okay.
at the Tiger game I was along the 3b line and Curtis Granderson came up to a small group of us along the fence, I aked him if he knew Joe DeLisle who pitched at UDM (Joe struck him out) and he asked how old he was, and while he was signing all these things for people he kept up a conversation wiht me and asked how old Joe was and hes like I remember playing UDM but I don't remember the name, hm Joe DeLisle, is he still your coach? and I told him he was my old coach. I asked him if he would tell Carlos Pena that his biggest fan said hi, and he asked if Carlos would know who I am, and I said I'm not sure, I met him once before, right here actually. He said he would tell him I said hi but couldn't promise he would come over. So Carlos ran out and started warming up, Curtis went back and talked to a guy, then Carlos went over and talked to them then I waited to see if Curtis would tell him and then I saw Carlos get a huge adorable smile on his face and turned around and looked at me and waved. I waited there and Carlos sat down and stretched, then the guy that worked there said "folks you gota get back to your seats" and I waited a minute longer and waved goodbye at Carlos, and he put his finger up like saying wait a minute, he got up and came over and gave me a hug and said "How have you been?" and I said good and he said "I just wanted to say hi" and by this time everybody was shoving things at him to sign. I told him he was playing well, and I said would you mind signing my leg brace for me? (dont ask me how in the world I thought of this, he signed a ticket for me last time I met him, sept 28th, 04, and I didn't know what else to ask him to sign) and he said he would and he said "right there?" and I said that was fine and he wrote his name on my left leg brace, I told him thanks and good luck tonight. I don't want him to think I'm a crazed fan that just wants an autograph I really woulda enjoyed just talking to him, I want to write him a thankyou.
I just read that and it sounds like a dream. I can't believe that happened. The only thing that would make it better is if Tyler was with me, he was last time I met Carlos. I talked to 2 major leaguers tonight out of those fans there Granderson talked to me and Carlos came over to talk to me and give me a hug. I'm on could 9 right now. Unbelieveable...
