I had been looking forward to voting in the primaries for weeks, so when Tuesday came along I was overly-excited to push the touch screen on the name Hillary Clinton, and even more excited when she actually won Ohio. The last time I voted was in the last presidential election and we all know that John Kerry lost to George Bush so it felt really good to be able to actually vote for someone and see something happen.

In annoying news, I am constantly defending Barack Obama at my job. I work with conservative Christians, and that's ok. What isn't ok, is the fact that my fourth grade students are convinced that Barack Obama is a Muslim and is killing Christians and will continue to do so if he is elected. Obama has been a member of Trinity United Church of Christ for over 20 years. He is not a Muslim, but even if he was, that doesn't mean he would kill Christians, or anyone for that matter... and if he did, he would be arrested. I don't blame my students, I blame their parents.

I have a love hate relationship with my job.
