We were speaking in my women's studies class the other day about why we think a lot of third wave feminists aren't concerned with abortion rights, and my professor said she thinks it is because we can't fathom that right being taken away from us. We have lived our entire lives with that right, so we don't think it will be taken away. Alas! A ban was passed on partial birth abortions the other day. I was never really a fan of partial birth abortions and always thought, why not abort the child earlier, or if you've carried it in your womb that long just have it and give it up for adoption, but the fact that that right was taken away terrifies me and hopefully others so that we all spring into action!

Speaking of springing, it finally feels like spring to me. It's been in about the 70's all day and gorgeous. One of my neighbors is grilling and it smells amazing. I totally should have invested in a grill. Too late now. Also on the topic of spring, my allergies haven't been bothering me nearly as much as they usually do. I'm hoping this means they are gone forever... I doubt it though, and I probably just jinxed myself. Eh.

I don't understand why people, typically young females (15-20-ish?), have a tendency to make their words longer than they are when they type, and shorter than they are when they speak. For example "I'm sooooooo excitedd to go to Ashleyssss house tomorrowwww!" Are they lazy and they don't want to pick up their fingers right away so they let it sit on the last letter of the word for a little bit? I just don't get it. I should look into it.

I graduate in 3 weeks.
