So, the last 36 hours or so have been delightfully spiffy and with further impending spiffyness, I'm afraid I can't update all the details with all of it right now.

Here's the short list:

Thursday: Met voncanon and Lodge at the Pour House to see Flav-O-Rich and Montage. Not familiar with either band, but had a good time. Having the upstairs area available to shoot down on the bands is flippin' sweet.

Friday: Took off work early with ambermae's encouragement to photograph one of Schoolhouse of Wonder's rendezvous sessions. Extremely cool. I've not downloaded photos yet, but the kids were great. I'll have to remember more about this later.

Afterward, drove up to Wake Forest to see Ben and Lodge play what was termed "Acoustic Jams for Soccer Moms." Quite hilarious. Somewhere between the Tenacious D that was promised by voncanon and the band that Rex, Dodi, Jay, Susan and I saw open for They Might be Giants in Petaluma a few years back. Best. Song. About. Stalking. Ever.

And, after all of that, the Friday night shindig at zombiepops and heatherivy's. Lots of stories told and I don't think I've been that foul mouthed in a long while. idontreadlj not that I ever took it seriously, even though it was said when you were drunk and thus, not funny, but I think we're now working on a clean slate from the Atari comment from February. Good times, good times.

Saturday: Bike ride, party prep. Discussions of social activity when I fly to California. W00t!

And the pending activities:

Saturday: "Everyday is Halloween" post-Halloween party.

Sunday: Bike ride, photo walk.
