What's next
With just short of two weeks before I leave for California, I have one more long ride I'm going to be attempting. The Franklinville Lions club is hosting the Tour de Lions. This isn't too far from the April 22 ride I did in Asheboro. I'll be tackling the metric century option (100k/62 miles).
As the week's progressed, my lingering issues from the century have faded. That's good. As I'm telling people what I'm about to do and how far the ride is, their eyes get really big. That's also good. All the prep means I haven't had nearly as much time for things like Flickr, but I'm looking forward to getting back into that after the ride.
Random factoid: I've now heard Queen's "Bicycle" twice in a week. First was, expectedly at the ride last Saturday. A little less expectedly, today, at Armadillo Grill.
