I have a list of TV shows that are either new, or old, and I want to catch up w/ them… Since I have a nasty history of putting things off (like work) in favor of play (or even in favor of spending time getting into a dopamine cycle hoping to find something to looks like play, and that includes filling out all kinds of extremely stupid quizzes on Facebook) SO! Since I will be going to school this semester, 2 days a week. Also, 2 days a week I will be going out to work out (Thursday is Gym, and Friday is Tai Chi… Tai Chi is reported to help w/ gracefulness… a department I am TOTALLY lacking in!) So, after I am done with going to either kind of class, I am allowed ONE!!! TV episode. I’m thinking that I may need to do a light work out on the other 3 days and a 2 hour study, THEN I am allowed ONE!!! TV episode. (when I’m going to find the time for all of this, I don’t know… but it all needs to happen… I think the family may join me for my TV show, if they promise to be good. J
Ok, so, w/o further ado, here’s a list of TV shows I want to watch/catch up on. (in no particular order)
How I Met Your Mother (There is just something about Barney… And I’ve always loved Willow… and the whole Legen… I hope you’re not lactose intolerant, because the next word is… dairy!!!)
Heroes (I’ve never actually watched past ¾ of the first season…)
Lost (Again, I love it, but I’ve not watched that much of it)
Carnival (AGAIN!!! What is wrong w/ me?!? I loved it, but I didn’t follow it)
Big Bank Theory (it’s getting good press in the circles I travel, I figure I should at least check out the first 5 eps, just in case it is good, if not, then I can drop it w/ a clear conscience)
Lie To Me (my husband loves this show, but for some reason watches it w/o me…)
Castle (I just love Captain Malcolm, I guess… I’ll give it the first season, but if it isn’t amazing by the end of it, I’m going to have to drop it)
Nurse Jackie (It gets the same buzz/same 5 episode rule)
True Blood (I really want to like it, I’ve just never been able to watch it, so I’m going to try again… I’ve not read the books, I just really like vampire/sex/psychic power combos… yes, I like Hamilton, the author)
Grey’s Anatomy (I watched half of the first season, and I really liked it, I only started it about a year ago, but I need to jump back on the bandwagon)
Dollhouse (I love Joss… and I worry that my husband isn’t staying interested in it, so I will have to pursue it on my own)
Californication (I will give it the first season, and see how it goes, from there. But I’m already predisposed to like it. Not because I love David Dechovoney, but because I did grow up during the X-Files thing, and I’ve written my own imaginary world about how Californication has happened after the FBI… not that it’s based on any real cannon or mental thread, it’s just how I roll)
