I recently put up a bird feeder. For several days, no birds came. Then suddenly many birds started coming. My cat Shadow is very entertained by all the birds flocking around the bird feeder. Once she dashed towards the window hoping to catch the birds, but they all flew away and she stopped. This is probably a good thing because she might have hurt herself if she hit the window.
Shadow has recently started scratching on doors that are wide open, which is strange. Sometimes she will go behind an open door and scratch on it, resulting in the door moving. On a few occasions, she has actually locked herself in a bedroom or bathroom. Once I was out of the house for several hours and I discovered she had locked herself in my bathroom. She didn't pee or poo on the floor, but she did drag my towel from the towel rack onto the floor. I guess I have to close all bedroom and bathroom doors whenever I leave the house from now on, or get some door stoppers.
