You know how sometimes people on your friend's list post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when are they working THERE? Since when are they dating HIM/HER? since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you *should* already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

Barbora. The most common shortened form is Bára and that's how most of the people call me. I can't decide if I like it or not. My closest friends call me Baruš most of the time, pronounced 'Barush' (wow, the mystery of the LJ name solved!!1!1!), or Barča (yeah, better not to know how that's pronounced). Well, I guess I kinda like my name, could have been worse=)
Age:
18, but people usually think I'm older. Can't blame them, really. At rare times I behave like a small kid though=)
Location:
Olomouc, Czech Republic. Not the worst place to live, certainly, but somehow I don't wanna spend the rest of my life in here. However, I like my city (better than let's say Prague) because it's really beautiful and cozy. Not too big but I'll find here everything I need to live=) I've never lived anywhere else permanently so it's time to try it out! lol
Occupation:
Student, still. For a few years to come, I'm afraid. I have a year in high school left and then hopefully uni. However, I have no clue what I wanna study, let alone do in the future.
Partner:
Who? I guess that all normal 18 year old people are shagging like bunnies (or at least want to) but who said I was normal? lol Somehow, 'partner' isn't a thing I'd think about 24/7, if at all.
Kids:
Er, no thanx. Honestly, I can't imagine myself as a mother. I'd probably got arrested for abuse before I'd even get a grip on parenting. I have no patience with little screaming brats. Don't wanna offend anybody, of course, but that's how it is. Well, things might change though, who knows.

Nope, I'm an only-child. And I like it. I'd like to think I'm not spoilt but that's not up to me to judge.
Pets:
Not counting hamsters ans such, I used to have a dog. West Highland White Terrier called Ron =) However, we had to put him down last September (he was 5 years old) because he was really sick. Well, he'd been sick all his life but it got to a point where the suffering outweighed our love for him so we had to. Now I'd love to have a cat my mother doesn't wan to.

Fan fiction
Sadly, yes. At first I wanted to put there 'internet addiction' but then I thought about it and realized that I spend like 90 per cent online time reading fics. Lately, I've been reading mainly Remus/Sirius fics and some occasional Linkin Park ones. My obsession got to a point where I'm trying to write too, have been for a year now. In this case it's only LP. Slash rulez my life. Shut up, I don't need to hear anything.
Music
My other addiction. I can't leave the house without my mp3 player. People who know me probably also know my music taste because it's hard to shut me up when I start rambling about Linkin Park, Nick Cave or Sunshine. Also, I've been to so many concerts and it'd be impossible to count them all.
Traveling
Or rather, a desire to travel. I've been to quite a lot of European countries already and enjoyed my time in every single one of them. In like 3 weeks I'm going to England again (for the 3rd time) to a working camp and I really look forward to the feeling of crossing the boards and exploring a foreign country. This time, also, I'll see how it is to depend only on myself seeing as I'm going there alone. Hopefully I'll survive lol My biggest traveling goal is to see Tokyo one day.

Well, I still am in high school. I mean, isn't it obvious why people go to school? But I've chosen this exact school before it has an English section, therefore it's the best choice around here for language freaks like I am lol
Parents:
A long complicated story. Let's shorten it. I've always loved my mother and never had a good relationship with my father. My parents hadn't been talking to each other for like 8 years before they got divorced (6 months ago) even though we were living in one flat. After the divorce, I moved away with my mother and I hardly ever see my father anymore. Well, I'm more than satisfied with the current situations.
Who are some of your closest friends?
My best RL friend is Diana, but nobody calls her other than Dius. You might have seen some pics of her in here as she's the one I do most stuff with. I've known her for the better part of my life and we've always been friends. I could rant and rant and rant abut her but it's fucking hot and I'm sick of typing. Sorry Dius lol
