(no subject)
We have a busy week next week. Lindseys mum is at hospital on Monday for the results of her CT scan and further tests, Lindsey understandably wants to be with her mum for this as her stepdad is neither use nor ornament. Ben also has a hospital appointment on Monday for his 6 monthly checkup and his IQ/DQ tests, my mum is coming to keep us both company/from killing each other.
Also the kitchen fitters wanted to start work on Monday - nothing like short notice, phone the client on Friday to start a full kitchen refit on the Monday - we have put them off until Tuesday. This means that the weekend will be spent emptying the kitchen, including the back of cupboards we haven't been in for years. I am sure it will all be worth it as it will give us much more space and get the new cooker out of the front room.
Hopefully we will also be picking up a new dvd/bookcase from Argos this weekend, this will mean the one in the living room can go back in the front room and Ben can have the small one from the front room for his bedroom. He really does need somewhere for books/games/cd/dvd storage.
Hopefully all will go to plan without much screaming and shouting. I do have some doubts though as last time Northern Counties came out to fit a new back gate the whole wall fell down and they ran away without as much as a note through the door. At least they will be inside the house this time under supervision, I really hope none of them have any serious dog phobias :D
