In approximately an hour and a half, the True Beast Rune Battle will begin. Thanks to Kenken's
awesome idea and the (quite handy) fact that the Golden Wolf has two heads, Lucas has split the large group we have into two parties.
These parties are:
GROUP 1:
Bernadette, Cray, Lucas, Lu, Elza, Rekion, Wyatt, Guide
(S: Cray, Lucas, Rekion)
(L: Bernadette, Lu, Elza, Guide)
VS: Head 1, Left Leg, Rune -> go to chatroom: truebeastfire

Hervey, Jeremy, Maxine, Nei, Sigurd, Troy, Wyatt

(L: Maxine, Nei, Sigurd)

We tried to keep in mind which characters wanted to stay together. D: I'm sorry if you're unhappy with something! x__x;; Both groups are really balanced in our opinion, though. ;;;
Keeping in mind the Golden Wolf has five components -- your characters don't know about what they can do, obviously, since there are no Suikoden II characters in both parties:
Head 1: fire magic (20 HP)
Head 2: ice magic (20 HP)
Left Leg: healing (15 HP)
Right Leg: status abnormalities (15 HP)
Rune: casts spells along with Head 1 & 2, allowing unites. (100 HP)
What'll happen is we'll be utilizing the //roll function in chat. The first dice will determine when your character attacks. The second dice will determine how much they hit for. I will be keeping track of both groups' damages live.
Example of the dice system we'll be using:
Hervey rolls 1 1
Bernadette rolls 3 6
Nei rolls 5 4
Right Leg rolls 5 2
-> Hervey will go first, but only deal 1 damage.
-> Bernadette will go second, dealing 6 damage -> if she uses Breath of Ice, receives a 1.5x multiplier -> deals 9 damage.
-> Nei will go third -> she heals for 4 damage.
-> Right Leg will also go third -- meaning it can't target Nei, but he can go after someone else not attacking on "turn 5".
If your character is using a healing spell, you heal for the second dice's amount. If you're using an offensive spell, you get a 1.5x multiplier.
If you use a unite attack, you must both roll on the same turn. The damage from the unite attack will be the character's 2nd dices added together. Example:
Sigurd: 4 4
Hervey: 4 4
= 8 damage!~
Each character will get 12 HP. If they lose all 12, they will be knocked out, unless someone "revives" them. Obviously, a revive spell can't, so your dice roll won't matter except for when you're able to revive. The Beast Rune will roll twice per turn for each group.
I hope this works out for everyone! This is the first time we've done anything like this on such a scale, so there may be a few bumps. Enjoy. I know I can't make everybody happy, but I hope I can make most.
