All right, I read over the dice rules and while I can probably figure it out, I got a bigger question. Hand on hand I get. Sword on sword I get. But I've got the chance to go up potentially against two hand fighters with a sword. In a row. (I know, Joker, I have to get past you to get at Shoon, but...) So, is there anything I could be considering narrative-wise as to how to describe this kind of fight? Geddoe is not a hand-fighter and wouldn't give up his blade just for a tournament, he'd lose in a second.

Ah, dilemma! Maybe my edited post will shed some light to your problem. I can't even remember if this is the first time we've had sword user vs hand user... Anyway, I've given you two the freedom to work it out however you want. The dice system served more as a guideline rather than rules when this whole thing started anyway. You guys are friends, so I know there won't be issues with how even/uneven the fight will be.

Yeah, me and Joker can probably figure things out for the first round - though I do like fairness too. ;) If I do advance, though, I don't have the same advantage with whoever I'd face next.

I'll look over the new stuff. Thanks!

(god I love fighting. rowr)

I worry about these things, too, more often than others, maybe. That's why the dice are kind of a default, but if players can agree to something they feel is fair and more importantly, are both comfortable with (who knows, maybe someone WANTS their character completely squashed, you know?), then by all means you have my blessing!

So...the "T1" thing is essentially just two people RPing. No rules, really, just...prose rp. Huh. Considering I did that with Yuber without even trying!

I suppose at the very least, we could flip a coin just to see who is GOING to win or lose, and then rp it up to that point. So long as both parties know how to write battle sequence pretty well.
