schuylkill, motherfuckers
yeah i love crew.
the highlight of my life like a week ago was when i was reading my short story book for english. and it was like 1870's-french style so i didnt expect a word about rowing. but apparently de Maupassant rowed in his youth. and he wrote a story about it. it was about his four rowing on hte Seine and they needed a coxswain. and they found this girl who was a really great cox. then she started sleeping with all of them. all four hahah. (what did i tell you about girls who cox boys...they are sluttssss) anyways, eventually she gets pregnant, cuz this is 1870's france and they have kids, not crackers. so none of hte 4 rowers know who the father is, but they all decide to adopt the kid when it is born and raise it together. so the coxswain buys into this and they all get excited about the kid theyre gonna have together. then the girl has a miscarriage and she is really really sad about losing her baby. and the story ends with one of the rowers saying, "dont worry honey, we'll make you another one." hahha rowers.
obviously one of hte best lines from this story was: We thought of nothing but having fun and rowing, for all of us regarded rowing as a religion.

i am also very jealous of all the kids who went to charles. but it looks like were gonna kick some serious ass at schuylkill, so philly: Watch the fuck out, cuz Pittsford Crew girls have been known to eat your elite private schools alive.
