Pandemic

The World Health Organization seems to be softening people up for a move to Level 6, that is, calling H1N1  a pandemic.

Let's review:

Endemic means that a disease is native to a particular region. So what does pandemic mean?

Yeah, I considered quoting his suppositions about H1N1 and H5N1 forming an unholy viral alliance, but I'm trying to keep things upbeat here. (Y'all want killer viruses? My Dengue-5 and Dengue-6 might scratch that virulent itch.)
