More accurately stated, non-violence takes FOREVER to work to effect change. Violence doesn't usually effect change, but it takes a heck of a lot less time.

I lived in Baltimore until two years ago, and the imagined stories around the ridiculousness of stealing the police horses is my coping strategy.

That is just so bizarre lol. Whomever stole them presumably knew how to ride them. But... were they just going to go trotting through the city? Take a stroll in the countryside? I don't even know, but it's so odd it's actually amusing!

Detroit has had a fire problem for years and no one's paid attention. There are several serial arsonists operating.

I could see a mob vandalism attack against the private sector light rail on Woodward Ave in Detroit, much like Israeli Arab protesters have targeted the Jerusalem light rail.

(I do have a non-black friend who lives in downtown Detroit, so I'm rather hoping for fewer riots there.)
